For the best results, allow the hair to grow to approximately ¼ inch—about the length of a grain of rice. This generally requires at least two to three weeks of growth after shaving.
Gently exfoliate the area 24–48 hours before your appointment, but avoid exfoliating on the day of your service. Please arrive with clean, dry skin and without lotions, oils, or fragranced products on the treatment area. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and breathable underwear. Please notify me before your appointment if you have irritated or broken skin, a recent sunburn, a recent treatment in the area, or use medications or topical products that may increase skin sensitivity. For sanitary reasons, brazilian waxing will not be performed during active menstruation, including spotting, regardless of whether a tampon or menstrual cup is being used. No exceptions will ne made.
Aftercare
For at least 24 hours after your wax, keep the area clean and avoid excessive heat, friction, heavy exercise, swimming, hot tubs, saunas, sexual activity, and fragranced products.
Wear loose clothing and breathable underwear to minimize rubbing. Avoid exfoliating for the first 48 hours. Afterward, resume gentle exfoliation two to three times per week to help maintain smooth skin and reduce the likelihood of ingrown hairs. Mild redness or sensitivity can occur temporarily after waxing. Please contact me if you have questions or experience irritation that does not settle.
